Georgian Bluffs

Georgian Bluffs is a rural and waterfront township featuring three beautiful waterfalls (Indian Falls, Jones Falls and Inglis Falls), Cobble Beach golf resort community, Bruce’s Caves Conservation Area, the Wiarton Keppel International Airport, and rural garden and artisan studio tours.

The Niagara Escarpment provides some of the main attractions in the area: scenic vistas at Skinner’s Bluff and Big Bay, mountain biking or hiking on the Bruce Trail, self-guided waterfall tours, and the Georgian Bluffs Trail from Owen Sound to Park Head.

Close to Wiarton, Bruce’s Caves is a unique conservation area with 7 hectares of hardwood forest and caves. Nearby, the Wiarton Keppel International Airport offers weekly flights to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and hosts the popular Air & Auto Extravaganza each June.

The township includes the communities of Alvanley, Balmy Beach, Benallen, Big Bay, Clavering, Cobble Beach, Copperkettle, Cruickshank, East Linton, Hogg, Inglis Falls, Jackson, Keady, Kemble, Kilsyth, Lake Charles, Lindenwood, Oxenden, Shallow Lake, Shouldice, Springmount, Squire, Wolseley and Zion.

Just south of Owen Sound are the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority arboretum and Inglis Falls. The arboretum showcases trees from Grey and Bruce counties, as well as species from around the world. North of Owen Sound, the Cobble Beach resort community is a still-developing residential and recreational area catering to golfers and tennis players.
