Sauble Beach

At seven miles long, Sauble Beach is the second-largest freshwater beach in the world. However, residents and visitors love it so much that they’ve rated it the #1 Freshwater Beach in Canada. But the beach is only the beginning!

This little town offers something for everyone: restaurants, shopping, golf, tennis, fishing, and great family-friendly activities.

For kids, one of the most exciting places in Sauble is undoubtedly the Aerial Ascent Park. This outdoor amusement attraction features a three-level ropes course with 30 elements, Canada’s first zip coaster, three rock climbing wall options, a free-fall jump experience, axe throwing, gemstone and fossil mining, a laser maze (indoors), and a soda factory!

Downtown Sauble Beach offers lots to do. Boutique shopping for swimwear and beach accessories, local restaurants and fast-food franchises, and even two mini-golf courses: Putterama Mini-Golf and Just Puttin’ Around.

When you’re ready to visit the beach, keep in mind that you’ll need to pay for parking along Lakeshore Boulevard (use the Mackay Pay app).

Just north of the beach, Sauble Falls Provincial Park features a series of walkable cascading waterfalls, camping, birding, canoeing, and fishing.

“This was an estate sale which resulted in my husband and I having to move.
Laura was very respectful of our situation and I felt no pressure.”
