“This was an estate sale which resulted in my husband and I having to move.
Laura was very respectful of our situation and I felt no pressure.”

Situated on the shores of Lake Huron, Southampton is a small town that welcomes the world in the summer.
The beach and its boardwalk are certainly a big draw, but there’s much more to Southampton than that!
Southampton’s Summer Music program is a music camp for children and youth, with expert leadership from local and international musicians. The Southampton Art Centre offers a school with a full slate of art classes for kids and adults, as well as a world-class art gallery. The Southampton Tennis Club is the largest summer tennis club in Ontario, with 15 tennis courts over three locations and tennis instruction for kids and adults.
The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is located here, and Chantry Island with its lighthouse and migratory bird sanctuary is just a short ferry ride away. The Saugeen River offers paddling and fishing opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.
Southampton and neighbour Port Elgin are collectively referred to as Saugeen Shores. The primary industries in the area are agriculture (beef and dairy, cattle and hogs, orchards, berries, large market gardens), small business, tourism (which doubles the population in summer), and the Bruce Power nuclear power station.
