Tobermory

Tobermory is located at the very tip of the Bruce Peninsula and specializes in outdoor adventures and activities for the whole family.

WHAT CAN I DO IN TOBERMORY?

Swimming, scuba diving, and snorkelling to see shipwrecks, kayaking and canoeing, fishing, and camping are just the start!

Two of Canada’s national parks are nearby. You can hike the trails and explore the Grotto at Bruce Peninsula National Park, and discover shipwrecks and the famous sea-stack rock formations on Flowerpot Island at Fathom Five National Marine Park. There are also many 19th-century lighthouses in the area, including Big Tub Lighthouse.

Tobermory is the end of the Bruce Trail, Canada’s longest marked footpath, running 900 km along the Niagara Escarpment from its starting point at Niagara Falls.

Kids will love the ropes course at Little Cove Adventures Aerial Park, and you can stay in one of their on-site cabins at night!

This is also where you catch the Chi-Cheemaun vehicle and passenger ferry for a ride to Manitoulin Island. Head to our Climb Aboard the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry! page to learn more.
