What Can I do at Bluewater Park?
Wiarton’s largest family entertainment venue, Bluewater Park features a large playground, swimming in Colpoy’s Bay, a boardwalk and path along the water, a boat launch, a swimming pool, a splash pad, tennis courts, a baseball diamond, and a campground.
What can I do at the Bruce County Mountain Bike Park?
Located just north of Wiarton on Bruce Road 9, this bike park provides over 15 km of both double- and single-track trails featuring rocky outcrops, armoured tread sections, and family-friendly loops. The Pump Track, located at the trailhead, was created from packed earth and is a continuous loop that allows riders to pump through berms and rollers without peddling! When can I see Wiarton Willie?
Each February 2nd (Groundhog Day) at the Wiarton Willie Festival, Willie predicts either an early spring or six more weeks of winter, and the prediction is broadcasted around the globe. What Can I do on the Bruce Trail?
A popular attraction all along the Bruce Peninsula is the Bruce Trail, Canada’s longest marked footpath, running 900 km along the Niagara Escarpment from its starting point at Niagara Falls to its end at Tobermory. Near Wiarton, Skinner’s Bluff and the caves and trails at the Bruce Caves Conservation Area are local gems.
